Long aniticipated release of Illegal Danish 2: Escape from Orgrimmar. The original soundtrack and visuals sure 'wow' the mind.
This it the sequel to the the first episode Illegal Danish Super Snacks . The story is about a guild whose sole purpose is the guard a danish, a breakfast pastry. The plot is surrounded by numerous characters and sub-stories, some that seemed disconnected from the original storyline, but added to the fun and variety of the movie. It seemed to follow the same quirky and zany style as Super Snacks, giving the series a unique style of its own. Because of the quirkyness or my lack of knowlege of WoW, I found the story was a bit difficult to follow, but the effects, camera work, music and sound effects make it well worth watching. The production has a certian professional feel to it.
Although I am not a big fan of voice overs, I have to admit these were some of the best I have heard. The original music soundtrack by Clint Hackleman is in a class of its own, simply outstanding. I have even replayed some parts of the movie just to listen to the soundtracks over again.
The overall length of the movie was appropriate. It did not feel like a marathon movie for which I had to set aside time for, nor did it feel like it was over before it started.
Overall a great movie, it is sure to be one of the years most popular, and one everybody should see.

Quoted from Myndflame
With the “Illegal Danish” guild being preoccupied by Van Kraken and the
theft of the Danish, Basutei is left imprisoned by Thrall in Orgrimmar.
Meanwhile, Floivan and Dirti journey through Stranglethorn Vale on
their own adventures.
The first episode of “Illegal Danish” was
released in March of 2006 and took about 4 months to produce. Episode 2
was conceptualized the summer after and originally scheduled for a fall
release (between October and December). Unfortunately our production
was halted twice before finally being able to schedule the 6 months
needed to produce this sequel (July-December 2007).
The entire
script and all the content produced in 2006 was scrapped after certain
contributors failed to follow through with the production. Instead we
produced “Hunter Squirrelbane”, “Epic Flight Form”, “The Clefthoof
Brigade” and “Learn 2 Play” which were much shorter and easier for our
2-man team to handle. We realize that it’s not important to most fans
that we put so much effort into the “Illegal Danish” series, but it’s a
challenge that we enjoy and we want to improve and push for our
personal best.
The music is all originally composed and an
important part of our productions (Myndflame has been producing music
since 1993 and did not produce its first video until 2005). We also
manage and maintain Myndflame.com and work directly with other
Machinima producers as well as companies involved in Machinima
advancement. We know there are lots of great people producing all
different styles and genres of Machinima and hope you will see that
that we’re not here to inspire competition, only collaboration and
growth in this emerging genre.
Thanks to all of our fans,
friends, and family who have been so patient with us and understand
that there is never a shortage of work to be done here. We hope to
spend more time than ever focusing on various Machinima projects in
2008. This movie is far from perfect but it’s been a great experience
to make. Enjoy it for what it is! Free entertainment!
