What's your definition of machinima?
this will sound like an odd one but after watching
"Cod 4 Tricks #2" as featured by machinima.com, it left me wondering
how does this qualify as "machinima"?
I e-mailed machinima.com
enquiring about it to which i got a one sentence counter question...
"What exactly is your definition of machinima?" by Jeff McFarland Director of Programming, Machinima.com
I've
since e-mailed him back with my answer ("machinima is a film crafting
technique to tell a story or drive a plot premise, involving a computer
generated graphics engine (usually a computer game is the most common
choice). Often this productions requiring planning, writing,
directing, and editing")
to which I got a response of...
"Andrew, The nice thing about the definition of machinima is that it's open to interpretation. Cheers!"
