Courting a Celt
This was my entry for the Axe/Xfire Machinima contest. I had to make a film based upon their "Game Killers" theme, and it had to do with dating. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am sick and tired of seeing commercials and movies about horny men trying to come up with idiotic lines to pick up women (and visa versa) and so I decided to make my movie a little differently, though I did remain within the confines of the theme. I didn't win anything. Here it is anyway, in all its glory. Enjoy!

Birth of the Forsaken
When Prince Arthas became the Lich king, his mind held sway over the corrupted creatures and peoples of Azeroth. But during a moment of weakness, one of these individuals freed herself from the mind of the Lich King. The Elf Sylvanas then used her will to break the chains that bound many of the corrupted to Arthas' will. These freed souls became the Forsaken, forever in debt to the Dark Lady's gift. This film tells of their birth.

Birth of the Forsaken was selected as a Dance finalist in the Xfire Machinima contest and contributed to Oxhorn's winning of the Special Prize Award.

If you would like to hear why the song was chosen and what my intention was, read my explanation about the film on my webpage:

The Anti-Elf Anthem
Of all the men of Azeroth, I must say that my least favorite race is the Elf! This is an anthem for all of those like me who detest Elves with every fiber of their being. And to all those who play Elves out there, I fully realize that you are free to choose whichever race you want. And you chose wrong.

Hehe, just joking.

Kinda.

Sorry for the delay in getting this movie published. It’s all in good fun, and I hope you enjoy! I’m thinking of writing some new songs and making more music videos. This movie was actually sort of an after thought, but I really like how it turned out.

The Joy of Punting Gnomes
This is a short commercial I made in response to Xfire's "VIP" contest. They asked a few authors to make a promo commercial that would be aired on MTV and its affiliates, and then they would pick the best one. "Squirrelbane" by the fellows over at Myndflame was chosen over mine (for reasons that are obvious).

Oh, and to all the gnomes out there, I do offer my apologies. I punt you fine little-uns for the sake of humor only. The only race I truly hate are the Elves. Oh, how I hate Elves...

Oxhorn Tells Off Xfire
Xfire is sponsoring a new contest for up-and-coming Machinima film makers and has sent out a call for directors to make advertisements for their contest with a cash reward based upon the number of downloads the advertisement gets. Why, this is pure exploitation, and Oxhorn will have nothing to do with it! Watch while Oxhorn picks on Xfire (and, more than anything, himself) acting like a snooty fool.

There are three "easter eggs" in this short movie; two which are very obvious, one which is a bit harder to find, and two of which refer to my previous movies. See if you can find them!

Oh, and for those who are humor-impaired, yes, this is a very tongue-in-cheek movie, hehe.

4 Commercials for mtvU by Oxhorn
MtvU sent out a casting call not long ago asking for college students to submit machinima samples. I responded and they contacted me asking me to make four thirty-second commercials for their brand new section called "gam0RZ ball" that would run during their broadcast of Gamer's Week 2.0. They ended up only using three of the four I made, and they first aired on November 15th, 2006.
