I am very pleased to anounce that Gamerztheatre.com will now be helping and supporting any gamer made or game related production. The first production that we wish to get behind is Metal Gear Solid - Philanthropy - which is a fan made movie, made by Hive Division, this production is totaly being financed by themselves and other fans of MGS.
The media frenzy was stirred at the launch of this trailer, showcasing this new side of the Philanthropy project is finally settling down, this is giving Hive Division a good chance to do the math and savour the enthusiastic feedback gathered worldwide. The trailer amased some 500.000 hits on YouTube and more on Stage 6, various features on Corriere.it0, TGCom, Official PlayStation Magazine (UK), and Rolling Stone gave the project just the lift and encouragement the production team needed.

An exclusive interview has been published on the website of the most prestigious Metal Gear Solid community in the world, GS: TUS.
After a full year's efforts, a year full of patience and growth, The Hive Division was happy to share with all of their Internet friends the first trailer of Philanthropy.
Now the project has been a part of their lives for more than four years, and in those four years, the aims that it represents and the dreams that it embodies have grown alongside them. Very soon we will have for you the second trailer.
This trailer is an example of what true gamers can do when they put their collective minds into it.
The plan for release of the movie is June of this year, hopefully they will be able to fullfill that plan.
Some time ago I e-mailed the team with an offer to host the movie at Hi Res at Gamerztheatre and to offer possable download streams for this production. At first Crazycanuck and I did not see GzT featuring this kind of production, however as we now have a set plan for the site, it blends in as a quality Gamer production.
That and it has the coolest CGI content, which I like.
I am glad to say the producer Giacomo Talamini recieved my mail and answered. It would seem that since Stage 6 went belly up they were looking for a high res home for their project. I am glad to be able to offer him and his team a better stage to showcase his teams fantastic production.
