Allied Intent Xtended - Developer Conversation

AIX

The IDFA group which I belong had the utmost pleasure in beta testing the highly anticipated Allied Intent Xtended Mod (http://www.aixtended.com) for Battlefield 2. Actually by the time the mod got to us it was almost perfect, with only minor changes being made to the second beta version. I thought as a way to introduce new and old players I would run a wee interview via the net, only to be told that I was usurped by my old friend Gerhart.

There has been an update posted over at Digital Warriors on the status of Sand of Fire. It may not be the news you want to hear, but you know the old saying "Good things come to those who wait."

Hi guys, time for another update... but this time I have a few things on my chest that I need to spit out.

First of all, both Donkey and I are getting a lot of questions lately from people asking us when the movie will be done. Ok, we don't mind people adressing us but there are limits. Quite frankly, it's bugging the shit out of us. So please people, do understand that we have both fulltime jobs. We are making this movie in our spare time and we do the best we can, as fast as we can. We are no machines, we both have a girlfriend that needs some attention, we both have responsabilities in real life that have a higher priority. We do the things just like everyone else.

The FlightGear flight simulator project is an open-sourced (free)multi-platform, cooperative flight simulator development project. Source code for the entire project is available and licensed under the GNU General Public License.

The goal of the FlightGear project is to create a sophisticated flight simulator framework for use in research or academic environments, for the development and pursuit of other interesting flight simulation ideas, and as an end-user application. We are developing a sophisticated, open simulation framework that can be expanded and improved upon by anyone interested in contributing.

There are many exciting possibilities for an open, free flight sim. We hope that this project will be interesting and useful to many people in many areas.
