We now have over 200 high-quality, movies being streamed at high-resolution, mostly divx. Over the following days we will continue to re-publish all the movies we had prior to Stage6 shutting down. I will be re-publishing movies by request and popularity.
Registered members may continue to add their own movies by simply adding the url from over 30 other video hosting sites.
You can now also upload your own HD divx and wmv movies!!
For those of you whose are experiencing difficult watching the streamed movies, you still have the option of simply downloading them.
So please enjoy the show and spread the word.

Bad news, Stage6 is closing its doors. Most of the movies at Gamerztheatre are hosted through Stage6.
If you have a movie hosted at some other video hosting site could you please provide the url in the forums . This way I can change the server info without losing any of the hit counts, ratings or comments.
If you don't have movies hosted anywhere, it would be very helpful if you could download a few of the movies here and upload them to Veoh.com or my ftp. Please post in the forums which movies you are downloading and want to upload so we don't get duplications.
Fortunately I have many of the movies here already on my ftp, so many of the best high quality streaming will continue to be streamed here.
Thank you
Canuck
For security cameras, usually the regular digital cameras are sided. The nikon digital camera is just to classily to stick on a wall, and so is an olympus digital camera.

Funny how things happen.
Khalids Surprise was a machinima movie that made me sit up and take notes, well produced, well edited and a crystal clear render. This move among others gave Canuck and I the seed of an idea that a website promoting and encouraging the fairly new art of Machinima, especialy showcasing those coming from FPS engine which by and large were being ignored by other machinima sites.
When Canuck got the site going Khalids Surprise was one of the first (and best) machinima's we highlighted. Even today it stands up well against what's being produced. With the site up and running I took on the task of contacting as many of the movie producers as possible and bringing them to site site.
John-Paul who produced Khalids, was first on my list, his e-mail was on the vid so I sent him his invite to join us, although the mail was never returned, (user not found) nor was it answered, it most likely got stuck in some internet highway one-way street. I waited a few weeks then tried again and again .. in fact several more times. Still no reply was obtained, last time I mailed his was to inform him that we at Gamerztheatre had put forward his movie to the OMFF awards last year. Even that could not pull him out the woodwork as there was still no reply from J-P.

927 HITS
Finally, after months of preparation we released a new website. And with the launch of the site we also created a new forum dedicated to the production of SoF.
The places to be... (don't forget to update your bookmarks)
SoF SITE -> http://www.sandsoffire.com
SoF FORUM -> http://forum.sandsoffire.com
The forum features some indepth information about Little_donkey and me. I think many of you will find it interesting to read about our past and present projects. There are also specific threads for questions, opinions and fan related stuff. I'd really appreciate it if you guys would register and introduce yourself to the SoF community (that's what it is made for afterall). In the future I will also add new information, post some behind-the-scenes stuff and other goodies you guys definitely don't want to miss.
And to celebrate the launch of these sites I have prepared a competition. That's right, there will be a wallpaper contest starting 1st of March running till April 30th with interesting prizes to win...

Pictures of War 2 by Monty_Dan
Pictures of War 2 is based on the flying career of Charlie Taylor who was the flight leader of 5 torpedo-bombers which took off on a routine training flight. Soon, after take-off things began to go wrong. The Charlie reported equipment malfunctions, gyro-compasses going crazy, and he lost his horizon, had radioed Florida with the bizarre message, "Control tower this is an emergency. We seem to be off course. We seem to be lost. We can't make out where we are." . When told to head due west they replied "Everything looks wrong, even the ocean looks strange".
A Navy search was initiated (including a Martin Mariner that blew up 23 minutes into its flight) that lasted for weeks. No trace was ever found of the aircraft or crew.
This happened just off the Florida coast and only two hours into the flight, all the aircraft just disappeared and were never seen again. No bodies were found and no wreckage spotted.
In isolation, the tragedy was not unprecedented. Disorientation is easy to achieve over water and, if lost, it is easy to fly until your fuel runs out, simply falling from the sky. The lack of evidence of a crash was unusual but, again, it has happened before. But what do we make of a sixth plane, the rescue plane - part of the search and rescue operation - blowing up less than half an hour after take-off, with total loss of life?
